Thank you Jarek!

Do you like the new photo of Sr. Marie above? Thanks to a total gift to us all from the awesome photographer Jarek, who helped us in France and London as we filmed the documentary (which I hear from Jarek is soon ready to be viewed), we have this new extraordinary photo of Sr. Marie! We stumbled upon this photo during the filming and Jarek took "a photo of a photo." He used his artistic talent to make the photo as clear and striking as it is now. Please visit his website http://www.sumiephotography.net/ and enter this login code: ephesus. Enjoy his incredible God given gift of photography. May Sr. Marie bless him always for his generosity.

Hope and Mercy on my mind...

Did you catch the last line in the second reading Sunday?

"For God delivered all to disobedience, that He might have mercy upon all." Romans 11:32

What hope we have been given...Thank You, Jesus! Praise You, Jesus!

I was reading Matthew 27 last evening (the sentencing of death and Crucifixion of Jesus) when I came upon verse 25 "And the whole people said in reply, 'His blood be upon us and upon our children.'" I thought of the line from St. Paul's Letter to the Romans from Sunday.

We, who are all guilty of the Passion, Crucifixion, and death of Jesus, are the very same ones for whom Jesus' obedience unto death purchased that mercy about which St. Paul writes. Eternity is not long enough to sing the praises of Jesus' Mercy and to thank Him.

This morning I was reading Isaiah Chapter 1. I came upon verses 16 and 18 to find a foretelling of Jesus' Mercy by the prophet. "Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord. Though your sins be like scarlet, they may be whiter than snow; Though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool." Is 1:18

Jesus' obedience and Sacrifice of Love has set everything right for us. All we need do is to follow the words of Isaiah. "Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes; cease doing evil; learn to do good." Is 1:16. ...and to trust in the Mercy that Jesus desires to shower upon us.

In this year of St. Paul let us permit him to help us to trust in the Mercy of Jesus. Remember the line from scripture from Sunday's second reading. "For God delivered us all to disobedience, that He might have mercy upon all." Romans 11:32. This is our hope.

Let us all embrace with new and fearless fervor the beautiful gift of Confession where we will be washed anew in the river of Jesus' Mercy. The gift of Jesus' Mercy just flows and flows eternally for each and every soul who comes to Him and asks. Confession fills us with hope of heaven.

Jesus, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner, your least and weakest servant, whose mere existence magnifies Your unfathomable Mercy. Amen.

Mary's House is a symbol of the Heart of our Merciful Mother. Sr. Marie holds open the door and beckons. May she intercede for us as we bring our petitions for Mercy and Peace to Jesus through Mary, Mother of Mercy; our life, our sweetness, and our hope. We need the Mercy and Peace of Jesus in these times more than ever before. Sr. Marie is our powerful intercessor and she calls us all to the refuge of Mary's House; Her Merciful Heart; our hope. There we may peacefully rest in hopefilled trust in the Mercy of Jesus and never fear the judgement that is sure to come.

Sr. Marie, pray for us.

One Year!

Just realized that we celebrate the our one year anniversary of this blog together. Thank you for all your support and prayers for the Cause for Sr. Marie during this very busy and fruitful year. I pray that God will continue to bless our work for the mission of Sr. Marie in these times and for her beatification according to His perfect and Divine Will. All praise, thanksgiving, honor, and glory be to our Dearest Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Mary. Mary please continue to spiritually call all God's children home to your House in Ephesus, a symbol of your Heart. Sr. Marie, pray for us to Jesus and Mary for all the intentions we bring to you each day as we beg your powerful intercession all for the glory of God. Amen.

August With Our Lady

I'll be travelling for much of August but hope to be united with you in prayer. There are three special days coming up. Tomorrow, August 5, Our Lady told the children of Medjugorje is her actual birthday. August 15 is the Feast of the Assumption; a very special day for us who have a devotion to honoring Mary's last years spent in Her House in Ephesus from which She was Assummed and Sr. Marie the Foundress and protectress of this House. Finally, August 22 we commemorate the Queenship of Mary. Please consider offering Novenas of Short Prayers and Little Penances as suggested by Rev. Robert E. Hughes in this beautiful meditative jewel I just found. Let's pray together this August and not forget to entrust the intention of the Cause for the Beatification of Sr. Marie along with the intentions of all our readers to the Heart of Mary during our August prayers as we honor Our Lady and adore, praise, and thank Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you all and may Sr. Marie pray for us.
