Be refreshed at Mary's Home with Sr. Marie today...

...without even leaving your home!  Here is an interesting set of panorama views of different areas surrounding Mary's House.   You'll see the little shopping area at the base of the hill, the pathway leading up to the house, the upper level where the House is situated, the lower level with the prayer wall and water founts. Also, enter Mary's House via virtual tour and there pray the Sr. Marie Prayer for peace in your heart and between faiths, for your own personal intentions, and for the intentions of all those praying through the intercession of Sr. Marie. Please include in a special way Bishop Finn, Fr. Carl Schulte, CM and all those working on the Cause for Sr. Marie.  Thank you.  Enjoy!

One Year Anniversary of the Opening of the Cause for the Beatification of Sr. Marie de Mandat-Grancey

Friends, it was one year ago today, January 21, 2011, Feast of St. Agnes, Patroness of our Diocese of Rockville Center here on Long Island, that the Cause for the Beatification of Sr. Marie de Mandat-Grancey was opened in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph by the Most Reverend Robert W. Finn. It was a holy and reverent ceremony of Solemn Vespers in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Catherdral of the Immaculate Conception, Kansas City, Missouri.  On the anniversary of this joyous day enjoy this short video clip (also above) of the Ceremony and the beautiful Homily delivered by Bishop Finn .

From Bishop Finn this morning via email:

A year ago today we opened the Cause.
All praise to Jesus Christ. Honor to Our Lady of Ephesus, St. John, Blessed Catherine Emmerich!
Sr. Marie de Mandat Grancey, intercede for us!
Thanks to you all,
+Bishop Finn
