I recently read an interesting article about World Youth Day preparations. I learned that Sydney's Muslim leaders have extended an olive branch of peace and cooperation by offering their mosques and school halls to the many Catholic pilgrims who will be visiting the Australian city in 2008. Australian Bishop Anthony Fisher was quoted as saying: "Peace and co-operation between people of faith - especially the three great monotheistic traditions of the book - is an inspiration of most young people and given the tensions in our world, it is an urgent message for us to all hear."
Please read the article (below) and pray through the intercession of Sr. Marie for this special grace filled effort for peace!
