Virginia Loves Sister Marie!

Erin and I got back on Saturday from flying to Washington, DC and driving to Virginia to introduce Sr. Marie to several parishes, a monastery, and Christendom College during Easter week. Everyone embraced her and we were invited back next fall to do more work in the parishes; Christendom also requested we return in the fall. One young man from Christendom asked us if we would consider bringing the good news and hope filled message and mission of Sr. Marie to San Antonio and L.A. Young people from St. John the Baptist Church in Front Royal, VA said they would begin a Facebook page for Sr. Marie and evangelize this way with their friends and family encouraging prayer and information sharing. Another young group said they would begin a Children of Mary group in honor of Sr. Marie and start praying to her in their established prayer groups. We appointed a couple from the Philippines to be Ambassadors for Sr. Marie and bring her prayer card to their country. Several people publicly declared that they were asking Sr. Marie to heal them of blindness and other ailments. A woman in the service took a large handful of prayer cards to distribute to the troops when she is deployed to Afghanistan next week and told us she was so filled with hope for peace after hearing about Sister Marie and her mission in these times and Mary's House in Ephesus. This was the reaction we had from so many. They took the prayer cards with great zeal and the intention to spread them to friends and family near and far. Some people were moved to say they would print up prayer cards and booklets to distribute adopting this mission as their own; this is easy to do because all materials are available on this blog at http://www.sistermarie.com/. All are welcomed and encouraged to send any PDFs on this blog to their local printer. Join us in spreading the word! It's exciting to see how God has His hand on this mission and is now asking others to join us by being a source of information and materials especially the prayer card and by setting up new speaking engagements. It was a busy week for Sr. Marie!
