Archbishop Bernardini

Please keep Archbishop Emeritus Giuseppe G. Bernardini in your prayers.  He was hospitalized yesterday.  We have few details at the moment.  He is the very holy Archbishop Emeritus of Izmir, Turkey to give the Imprimatur to the Sr. Marie Prayer Card on October 6, 2004.  Let's offer many prayers for his good health and speedy recovery through the intercession of Sr. Marie.  Thank you.

UPDATE 2/9/12:  Prayers are helping!
We just spoke with Archbishop Bernardini who was brought to the hospital yesterday.   He was very relieved because he was able to breath so much better today.  He is in good spirits.  He is still undergoing medical tests on his heart, etc.  Let's keep the prayers going for a full recovery!

UPDATE 2/21/12:  Prayers needed.
Archbishop Bernardini will undergo heart surgery today.  Please pray for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

UPDATE:   2/21/12 later today: Proceedure went well today! Arb. Bernardini just called and sounded excellent! He feels much better. They are going to monitor him the next few days in the hospital to see if he will need a pacemaker.  Let's pray for his full recovery and the grace to have a healthy long life to see his parents and Sr. Marie all Beatified!
